Applying for Housing

We are excited about you and your decision to attend ASU-Beebe!  Living on campus plays a vital role in your academic success, as well as enhancing your overall college experience.

Returning ASU-Beebe Residents

Returning residents may renew their housing application through submitting the paper Renewal Selection & Verification Priority (RSVP) Application starting November 15th for the spring semester and April 25th for the fall semester. The deadline for priority assignments is April 1st. Priority placement for GPA, classification, etc, can not be guaranteed for residents renewing their application after April 1st.

First-time ASU-Beebe Residents

The first-time resident housing application is open from November 15th to Move-in Day (if availability still exists). The deadline for priority assignments is April 1st. Priority placement for GPA, classification, etc, can not be guaranteed for new residents submitting applications after April 1st.

How to apply for housing as a first-time resident:

  1. A $150.00 non-refundable application fee is due before you complete your housing application below.  You may pay your application fee one of three ways: in-person at the Cashier's Office in State Hall, via phone with debit/credit card (501.882.8825), or by mailing a check to ASU-Beebe Cashier's Office, P.O. Box 1000, Beebe, AR 72012. (Please place student's name and "app fee" in the memo line). Be sure to keep your receipt number as you will need it to complete your housing application. Your receipt number can also be found inside your Vanguard Portal.
  2. Once you have paid the non-refundable application fee, feel free to complete the Housing Application below. The application will ask several questions about your personality and personal preferences to assist with housing placements. Feel free to review the application before starting to complete it.
  3. You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours with directions and helpful information to prepare for on-campus life.
  4. Residents will receive notification of their room/suitemate assignments in July for Fall semester; and one week before move-in day for Spring, Summer I or II semesters.

Housing Application Terms and Acknowledgments

I make this application with the understanding that my Housing Lease Agreement will be for the period of an academic year (Fall and Spring Semesters) unless I am applying for the Spring Semester or Summer I or II semesters; and

I understand that if I withdraw from classes, I will forfeit my application fee and be responsible for room and board charges incurred; and

I also understand that if I move out of the residence halls before the end of the semester without withdrawing from classes, I will be responsible for board charges incurred and I will forfeit my application fee (will not transfer to future applications) and room for the entire semester; and

I also understand that if I withdraw from classes or am administratively withdrawn, I will need to vacate my residence hall room within 24 hours of my withdrawal; and

I also understand the Office of Student Life will make every effort to make housing placement assignments match the requests included in this application with the best judgment, but ASU-Beebe may be required to make placement decisions outside of my requests for the better concern of the entire residence hall; and

I also understand priority for housing placement assignments are made based on the number of credit hours completed, GPA, university service, participation in a living-learning community, and date of housing application submission; and

I also understand as a condition of my housing contract, I must be enrolled in and maintain status as a full-time student (nine (9) credit hours), maintain a GPA of 1.50 of higher, have paid an $150.00 application fee, and before the tenth (10) day of classes, have paid-in-full or have arrangements with the Student Accounts Office for my entire account (classes, fees, room and board, etc) to be paid; and

By submitting this application, I agree to the above and to abide by all the rules and regulations in the ASU-Beebe Student Handbook (linked here), the Residence Hall Manual (linked here) and contract conditions, and I agree that they constitute a part of this application and subsequent housing contract.
