Pre-Physical Therapy

The Associate of Science Liberal Arts and Science – pre-physical therapy emphasis is a 60-semester-hour program designed for students with specific occupational or transfer needs. It has a general education core made up of the 35-hour state minimum core requirements. It directs students toward meeting the requirements for the first two years of many exercise science/pre-physical therapy degrees.

Program Outcomes

  • Engage students in a math and science curriculum that prepares them for transfer into pre-physical therapy degrees such as bachelor of science in exercise science degrees. 
  • Enable students to apply quantitative, qualitative and scientific reasoning to solve problems by emphasizing creative and analytical thinking in the curriculum.
