Regional Career Center

The Regional Career Center is an extension of your high-school curriculum. Located on the ASU-Beebe Searcy campus, the director and staff work closely with school administrators and counselors so the learning experience becomes an integral part of your high school program. 

Courses taken at the Regional Career Center are full academic credit through your high school. Students are also eligible to receive concurrent college credit for our programs. Each program curriculum has been carefully planned to provide maximum training; successful completion of each course provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to enter the workforce and continue your education. 

 Tuition is FREE for Arkansas students enrolled at participating schools!

Automotive Service Technology


Automotive Service Technology provides training in brakes, electrical systems, engine performance, and suspension/steering systems.

Computerized Machining Technology


Computerized Machining Technology teaches students how to work with laser engravers, CNC milling equipment, 3D printers and more, using Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and Manufacturing (CAM) software.

Air Conditioning Technology focuses on training students in installation and servicing of central air conditioning systems and a variety of refrigeration equipment.


Health Information Technology


Health Information Technology prepares students to go into a variety of health related positions health information assistants, pharmacy technicians, and other areas.

Industrial Technology trains the student in a number of different skills including hydraulics, electricity, drafting, hand tools, and welding.

Power Sports Technology


Power program is designed to train students to repair vehicles such as powerboats, motorcycles, ATVs, and outdoor power equipment.

Welding Technology degrees prepare students for entry-level positions in a wide range of industries. Industry job include aerospace, automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding or pipeline construction.

These short-term classes are usually offered at night, weekends, or online and are designed to enhance personal or professional skills.

The Continuing Education/Workforce Development Department at ASU-Beebe sponsors numerous non-credit classes that are designed to meet the needs of the general public and business workforce.

Advanced Programs

Through a partnership between A-State and ASUB, students may earn baccalaureate degrees from Arkansas State University by taking coursework at the Degree Center on the Beebe campus.
