The diesel technology program trains students to repair and maintain farm equipment, industrial equipment, heavy-duty trucks and other heavy equipment. There is an increasing demand for mechanics in this field due to the growth in diesel engines used in everyday vehicles, mobile equipment and farming equipment.

Program Outcomes

Graduates are prepared to enter the workforce as diesel technicians.
Graduates should earn a minimum of four Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications.
ASU-Beebe's diesel technology program strives to stay in the Top Ten "Get Ahead" certification school.
ASU-Beebe's diesel technology program will work to place students in an ASE apprenticeship program.
Students will demonstrate proficient shop skills.
