But to transfer successfully and accomplish all your goals, you need a strong plan – and that’s where Transfer Services come in.
The Office of Transfer Services is responsible for assistance with transfer to a four-year college or university, including areas like:
- Applications
- College search
- Selection of major
- Transfer of credit
- Information on transfer scholarships
- Coordination of fall and spring transfer college days
- College visitations throughout the year
Current students and alumni seeking to transfer to a four-year college or university are encouraged to make an appointment to discuss navigating the transfer process from ASU-Beebe. The mission of Transfer Services is to help students select a transfer school that best fits each student's unique goals, desired academic program of study, cost of attendance, and geographical location, and to help students successfully complete the transfer process for their chosen transfer school. The goal of Transfer Services is to make the transfer as seamless as possible. Many representatives from Arkansas four-year institutions visit the campus to recruit students each fall and spring semester. ASU-Beebe students will learn transfer requirements, scholarship information, appropriate contacts for their degrees of interest and much more. Transfer Services is dedicated to assisting students with identifying the transfer school that fits their needs. Most public four-year institutions in Arkansas provide scholarships to transfer students. Each academic year, Arkansas State University-Beebe’s Chancellor is provided transfer scholarships from select schools to award to ASU-Beebe students. These scholarships are highly competitive. The ASU-Beebe Scholarship committee solicits applications and convenes to blindly review and score the applications, then recommends the recipients to the Chancellor for approval.
The committee members seek to select one student for each university who is highly engaged in their academic endeavors, earn good grades, and demonstrate a commitment to improving their communities.
The successful candidate is required to comply with transfer scholarship requirements set forth by the transfer institution in order for the student to renew the scholarship each semester/year.
There are four Chancellor's Transfer Scholarship Opportunities--Arkansas Tech University, Henderson State University, University of Arkansas at Monticello, and University of Central Arkansas.
