Veteran/Military Tuition Policy
Veteran Checklist
- Submit an Application for Admission.
- Apply for VA Educational Benefits.
- Apply for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Take the ACCUPLACER test - contact the Testing Center at 501.882.8812.
- Submit the following documents to the Admissions Office:
- Immunization Records
- All college/university official transcripts
- All military transcripts
- Set an advising appointment with an advisor or the Advising & Learning Center to establish an education plan and register for classes.
- Pay for classes online through your Vanguard Portal (Post 9/11 and VA Rehab do not need to do this step).
- Complete the VA Certification Request.
- Submit VA Certification Request and Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or confirmation from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to the VA Representative.
Transcript Request
Please request your official transcript from the following sources and have it sent to the address below:
- Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, or Navy Joint Services Transcript (JTS)
- Community College of the Air Force
- Air University
- CLEP Test Transcripts
- Dantes/DSST Transcript Order Form
Go to the web address for any institution that you have taken courses and have the official transcript(s) mailed to:

Graduation Honor Cords
In recognition of your military service to the United States of America, Arkansas State University-Beebe honors your service and your graduation by providing a red, white, and blue Military Honor Cord for you to wear as a part of your commencement ceremony regalia.
If you meet graduation requirements and are an honorably discharged U.S. veteran or currently serving in the U.S. military (Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserves), you are authorized to wear the Military Honor Cord.
The cords are provided to you at no cost by ASU-Beebe Student Services. Cords may be picked up from the Student Success Center in the McKay Student Center, Room 202. If you have any questions, contact Gerald Smith at 501.882.8932 or email gesmith@asub.edu.
