The Vanguard Community Report
The Vanguard is an ASU-Beebe annual community report published since 1995. The name pays tribute to the first newspaper on campus, which started publishing around 1951. A vanguard is defined as a group of people leading the way to new developments or ideas. In April 2015, ASU-Beebe chose Vanguard as the official mascot. Vanguard has a special meaning for ASU-Beebe students, faculty, and staff as it represents the college’s passion for leading the charge in education.
