Community Tree Lighting

Arkansas State University-Beebe invites the community to attend the annual ASU-Beebe Tree-Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in ‘The Grove’ behind the State Hall Building on the Beebe campus.

December 21, 2018

In addition to the Tree-Lighting Ceremony, there will be free refreshments, hayrides, and a visit from Santa Claus. Also, those attending can enjoy live music featuring the ASU-Beebe Chamber Singers, ASU-Beebe Symphonic Band, Beebe High School Marching Band, Beebe Middle School Choir, and the Beebe High School Chamber Choir.

Dr. Jennifer Methvin Chancellor said, “It is an honor to invite our community members and neighbors to join ASU-Beebe faculty, staff, and students around our community tree for an evening of music and fellowship.  Community involvement is important to us, and I know no better way to kick off the holidays than gathering together to light this beautiful tree.  I hope everyone will join us.”
