FAQs

Why Socially-Distanced Commencement?

Commencement enables ASU-Beebe to honor our Spring 2021 graduates in May and celebrate our first in-person event in over a year - while still minimizing the risk of contracting Covid-19 for our students, faculty and staff.

Please see ASU-Beebe's Covid-19 Information Page for the latest updates from the college.

Why is Seating Limited for Commencement?

We desperately wanted to celebrate our 2021 graduates with an in-person commencement program, but we have to balance the ongoing health requirements for social distancing and capacity of our facility.  By limiting each graduate to 4-guests they can invite immediate family and other extended friends and family can watch the event on a livestream video hosted on ASU-Beebe's Youtube Channel .

Family and friends will be able to celebrate their student in the live chat during the livestream ceremony.

How do I check to see that my graduation application is on file?

Once a student's application has been submitted, they will receive an email notification and also a web portal alert

Will I still be able to purchase regalia?

Yes! Brown's Graduation Supplies will be on-campus for planning days, as well as an online storefront where students can order regalia and have it shipped to their home.
