AFA = Associate of Fine Arts

A graphic design student at Arkansas State University-Beebe will develop the knowledge and skills to integrate communication and critical thinking in all spheres of design. Students will become familiar with design fundamentals, mobile and web technology, and user experience while preparing to transfer to a baccalaureate institution.

Demonstrate a foundational level of visual literacy with a focus on the elements and principles of design.
Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
