Computerized Machining Technology CP = Certificate of Proficiency
The Computerized Machining Technology program will provide students with the knowledge for designing, prototyping, and manufacturing machined parts. By working with computer numerical control (CNC) machine technologies, students are able to make tools, dies, molds, and other objects using 3-D printing, high tech lathes, or milling equipment. SolidWorks and MasterCam software are used in designing parts, while lathe and mill machines are used to manufacture the designed parts.
