Workforce & Community Development

The Office of Workforce and Community Development is focused on enhancing the lives of current and future employees within the local community. The Workforce and Community Development team strives to offer world-class training through numerous non-credit classes designed to meet  business and industry needs now and into the future.

Short-term Workforce Training classes are designed to enhance personal or professional growth and skills that can be offered during the day, at night, weekends, or even online. Courses can be conducted on all four of the ASU-Beebe campuses in Beebe, Heber Springs, Little Rock Air Force Base, and Searcy.

If you are interested in learning a new skill or strengthening an existing skill, ASU-Beebe can help you!

Customized Development & Training

ASU-Beebe delivers high-quality customized training designed to improve the performance and efficiency of your company. Workforce staff will work with your company to design training programs to meet the specific needs of your industry. Training can be conducted at one of our many campus locations or at your place of business based on your needs and schedule. Participants in workforce education classes/trainings may earn continuing education units (CEUs). One CEU represents ten contact hours of participation under qualified instruction. A transcript of work will be permanently filed at the college and will be readily available for your reference needs.
