Communication
The financial aid process can be handled through the student portal to assist you better. Students can view documents needed and received by the Financial Aid Office, changes, and their award notice.
You should view your student portal regularly.
Course Program of Study
The U.S. Department of Education mandates that only the courses in a student’s declared program will determine that student’s eligibility for federal financial aid, which can include the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Work-Study, Federal Direct loans, and the Federal SEOG. Course Program of Study (CPoS) is a Banner function that identifies these courses.
Specifically, for federal aid to pay for courses in your degree, your courses must be part of your program of study or be necessary to earn the total hours required for your degree. Taking courses that are not a part of your program of study could result in receiving less federal financial aid and potentially having to pay for courses out-of-pocket.
Documents & Dates
To allow time for your financial aid award eligibility to be determined before the start of classes, the following items must be filled out completely and received by ASU-Beebe by the dates listed in the table below:
- Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) results.
- If you or your family's financial situation has changed significantly from what is reflected on your federal income tax return (for example, if you've lost a job or otherwise experienced a drop in income), you may be eligible to have your financial aid adjusted. Complete the FAFSA questions as instructed on the application, submit your FAFSA form, then contact our financial aid office to discuss how your current financial situation has changed. Note that the school's decision is final and cannot be appealed to the U.S. Department of Education.
- All required documents found on your student portal for Financial Aid and Admissions.
- You must be fully admitted as a degree-seeking student in a degree or technical certificate program offered through ASU-Beebe.
