Simmons, Vailes Crowned ASU-Beebe Harvest Fest Queen, King

The Arkansas State University-Beebe 2023 Harvest Fest royalty were crowned at the annual Harvest Fest event on Wednesday, Nov. 1, in the Dr. Eugene McKay Student Center. 

Asia Simmons and William Vailes were announced as this year's Harvest Queen and Harvest King. Simmons, a sophomore criminal justice major from Jacksonville, represented the Knights at the Round Table student organization. Vailes, a freshman criminology major from Cabot, represented TRIO Leadership Council student organization. Simmons and Vailes were selected by the student body from a pool of candidates nominated by student organizations. 

The Harvest Fest court included Danielle Slater, a sophomore veterinary technology major from Cherokee Village, and Jacob Staton, a sophomore agricultural business major from Carlisle, representing the Agriculture Club; Trace Vanoven, a freshman computer-aided drafting and design major from Russell, and Ashley Venable, a sophomore veterinary technology major from Evening Shade, representing Turning Point USA; Catherine Hartman, a sophomore liberal arts and sciences major from Quitman, and Leonardo Pena, a freshman liberal arts and sciences major from Cabot, representing the Residence Hall Association; Madison Little, a freshman pre-pharmacy major from Beebe, representing Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society; Cadence Ray, a freshman elementary education major from Beebe, and Brandon Perry, a sophomore physical education major from Carlisle, representing the Future Educators Club; Avery McMullen, a freshman liberal arts major from Beebe, representing Knights at the Round Table; Ashley Clark, a sophomore theater major from Beebe, and James Jennings, a sophomore finance major from Cabot, representing the Student Government Association; and Hailey Stephens, a freshman business major from Floyd, representing TRIO Leadership Council.
