Vet Tech Program Application
The Vet Tech Program Application is now open. It will close on May 15th. Any applications submitted after May 15th will not be considered for the Fall 2026 class.
Students interested in applying for the Veterinary Technology Program MUST apply to ASU-Beebe as the first step in the application process.
Once you are admitted to ASU-Beebe, you can then fill out the secondary application for the Veterinary Technology program.
Acceptance to ASU-Beebe DOES NOT guarantee acceptance into the Veterinary Technology program.

Our Veterinary Technology program is highly selective, and students must complete the following steps for final consideration to enter the program:
- Must be fully admitted to ASU-Beebe.
- Must meet the following minimum test score requirements: – ACT English score 19 OR Accuplacer Next Generation Reading 253 and Writing 260 ( A WritePlacer score of 5 can be used in place of Accuplacer Writing.)
- Complete the Veterinary Technology program application no later than May 15th.
- Complete 20 hours of observation/work with a veterinary clinic and submit the "Affidavit of Work Experience/Observation" form to vettech@asub.edu. (must be completed prior to your interview) .
- Check your email for updates on when your scheduled candidate interview will take place.

Program Outcomes
- Through appropriate application of professional communication, creative and analytical thinking, and commitment to society and self, graduates will meet Vet Tech employment needs to focus on evolving patient care.
- Individuals seeking to be veterinary technicians are guided by support and encouragement to demonstrate the necessary technical skills in the simulation lab/preceptor for success in veterinary technology.
- Students reach goal attainment through successful program completion and passage of the Veterinary Technician National Exam leading to the certified veterinary technician credential.
