Adult Education

The ASU-Beebe Adult Education Centers offer Official GED® Testing. Our Centers are located on the Beebe, Searcy, and Heber Springs campuses, as well as Woodruff County Public Library.

Services Offered

ASUB Adult Education offers a variety of services and trainings to better prepare the community for the workforce.  And, best of all, all services are provided FREE of charge.
  • Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes are offered at all of our locations. ABE classes are for those wanting to earn a High School Equivalency (GED®).
  • English as Second Language (ESL) classes are offered on the ASUB- Searcy Campus.  ESL classes are for those whose native language is something other than English and want to learn to read, write, and speak English better.
  • Brush up classes are offered at all of our locations.  Brush up is for high school graduates that need some refresher training before starting college.
  • Workplace training classes: We partner with local employers to provide free on-site training to workers who would benefit from contextualized language, reading, or math instruction.

ASUB provides equal access to all programs and activities.

Registration is open now. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our office at (501)207-6290.
