The Office of Institutional Effectiveness aims to provide consistent, reliable and accurate data, and information to internal and external parties on a timely and regular basis. While making every effort to ensure the accuracy of the data distributed, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness must also guard individual privacy. In most cases, aggregate data that cannot be traced to those from whom it was collected are shared. For official university business, data specific to individuals may be shared, but only within the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) guidelines.

Demographics: Student enrollment in credit courses at ASU-Beebe can be broken down by various demographics. The Office of Institutional Effectiveness provides a breakdown of census enrollment for both fall and spring semesters by campus, race/ethnicity, age, gender, enrollment status, student level, degree intent, attendance status and cohort size.
Enrollment: The Office of Institutional Effectiveness is often asked for data on ASU-Beebe enrollment in credit courses. To determine which enrollment view best suits your needs, please review the information below. Most reports list an unduplicated student headcount, as well as the Student Semester Credit Hours (SSCH). Full-Time Equivalency (FTE) is calculated by dividing the SSCH by 15 per semester or 30 for an annual report.
Retention: As a two-year college, ASU-Beebe offers associate degrees, technical certificates and certificates of proficiency. Student retention is important, but with the multiple levels of degree and certificate attainment available to students, it make sense to focus on ways to decrease student attrition rather than simply increase student retention. Student attrition is defined as the reduction of numbers of students attending courses over time. In other words, student attrition focuses on the number of student dropouts. At ASU-Beebe, the student attrition rate is the percentage of students who did not graduate or return for a future semester. The percentage of students who did graduate or return are often referred to as the "success rate." To determine the success rate, subtract the attrition rate from 100. The goal at ASU-Beebe is to have a low attrition rate and a high success rate, indicating that a high percentage of students are either completing a degree or certificate or are continuing to work on their academic program at ASU-Beebe.
