Symphonic Band Concert Set for Sept. 29

The ASU-Beebe Department of Music will present the Symphonic Band in concert at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 29 in the Owen Center theater on the Beebe campus at 1102 West College Street. The concert is free admission and open to the public.
 
The Symphonic Band is under the direction of Dr. Brent Bristow, director of the bands and professor of music. Selections will include works by Robert W. Smith, Randall Standridge, Ayatey Shabazz, David Holsinger, Brady Massey, Erik Morales, Travis J. Weller and Ralph Vaughn Williams.
 
ASU-Beebe offers an Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree with an emphasis in vocal music or instrumental music, theater, graphic design or creative arts enterprise. This degree is a comprehensive two-year curriculum designed specifically for transfer toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
