Students from the ASU‑Beebe Searcy campus Regional Career Center, the Lonoke Business Academy Regional Career Center, and the Heber Springs campus competed in the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference held June 23–27, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The students advanced to nationals after earning top placements at the Arkansas SkillsUSA state competition held in April at Hot Springs.

In marine service technology, college division, Jonathon Collins from Judsonia received seventh place and Matthew Ruther from Vilonia High School received tenth place.
Students from the ASU‑Beebe Searcy campus placed as follows:
In automated manufacturing technology, college division, Enrique Hernandez from Higginson, Evan Soles from Searcy and Conner Yancey from Pangburn received 12th place.
In diesel equipment technology, college division, Brennan Gustin from Searcy received 22nd place and Rolando Perez from Pangburn High School received 42nd place.
In job skills demonstration, college division, John Shadell from Mayflower received fourth place.
In power equipment technology, college division, John Lemons from Cabot received 11th place.
Students from the ASU‑Beebe Regional Career Center at Lonoke placed as follows:
In related technical math, Andrew Wiencek from Lonoke Business Academy received 31st place.
SkillsUSA is a national membership association open to high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations, and for further education.
