ASU-Beebe is proud to announce a generous $15,000 donation from Stallion Transportation Group in support of the diesel technology program. This gift will enhance the program by helping fund equipment, student travel for SkillsUSA competitions, and other critical needs that ensure ASU-Beebe students remain workforce-ready.
Stallion Transportation Group President and CEO Butch Rice, a longtime champion of workforce development, serves on the ASU-Beebe Board of Visitors, the Development Council, and the Diesel Technology Program Advisory Board.
“We are proud to support ASU-Beebe and its outstanding diesel technology program,” said Butch Rice. “The college continues to invest in students who are the future of the transportation and logistics industry. By helping equip their labs, supporting hands-on learning, and preparing students to compete in events like SkillsUSA, we’re investing in a strong and capable workforce that drives our economy forward.”
ASU-Beebe’s diesel technology program prepares students for in-demand careers with hands-on training in engine diagnostics, hydraulics, brake systems, and preventative maintenance, among other skills. Students can earn a technical certificate or an Associate of Applied Science in Diesel Technology, equipping them with industry credentials and real-world experience.
Dr. Jennifer Methvin, ASU-Beebe chancellor, expressed gratitude for the continued partnership with Stallion Transportation.
“We are incredibly thankful to Mr. Butch Rice and Stallion Transportation for their unwavering support of our students and programs,” Methvin said. “This gift directly impacts our ability to offer a high-quality, career-focused education that transforms lives. It is partnerships like this that move ASU-Beebe forward and demonstrate the powerful connection between education and industry.”
