The ASU-Beebe 2025 Harvest Fest royalty was crowned at the annual Harvest Fest event on Wednesday, Oct. 29, in the Dr. Eugene McKay Student Center.
Kamauryi Smith and Cole Wood were announced as this year's Harvest Queen and Harvest King. Smith, a business major from Beebe, represented the Business Club. She plans to transfer to the University of Central Arkansas and pursue a bachelor’s degree in business. Wood, from Ben, is an agriculture major and represented the Ag Club. He plans a career in insurance sales.
Smith and Wood were selected by the student body from a pool of candidates nominated by ASU-Beebe student organizations.
Harvest Fest queen candidates included Avary Barger, a veterinary technology major from Mountain Home, represented the Residence Hall Association; Nevaeh Butler, a business major, represented the Black Excellence Association; Caitlin Cooper, an agriculture business major from Romance, represented the Agriculture Club; Allissa Newberry, a veterinary technology major from Benton, represented Phi Theta Kappa; Elanna Osborne, a psychology major from Cabot, represented the Vanguard Esports Club; April Parlow, an early childhood education major from Memphis, Tennessee, represented the TRIO Leadership Council; and Vanessa Rios, a special education major from Searcy, represented the Future Educators Club.
Harvest Fest king candidates included Ethan Davenport, a liberal arts and sciences major from Lonoke, represented Phi Theta Kappa; Austin McCulley, a psychology major from Clinton, represented the TRIO Leadership Council; Calvin Pearce, an animal science major from Quitman, represented the Residence Hall Association; Trejan Rainey, a fine arts major from Jacksonville, represented the Black Excellence Association; David Rouss, a liberal arts and sciences major from Cabot, represented the Business Club; and Michael Shapard, a business major from Cabot, represented the Vanguard Esports Club.
The event has been an ASU-Beebe tradition for more than 70 years and was sponsored by Student Life and the Student Government Association.
“The Harvest Fest Royalty tradition reflects the best of ASU-Beebe—our students’ spirit, involvement, and commitment to their campus community,” said Zackery Tucker, the dean of students. “It’s more than just a crown; it’s a recognition of character, leadership, and the positive impact our students make every day.”
