ASU-Beebe Symphonic Band Announces November ConcertNew Item

The ASU-Beebe Department of Music will present the Symphonic Band, along with members of the White County Community Band, concert at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17 in the Owen Center theater on the Beebe campus at 1102 West College Street. The concert is free admission and open to the public.
 
The Symphonic Band is under the direction of Dr. Brent Bristow, director of the bands and professor of music. Selections will include works by Ed Huckeby, Brian Balmages, Samuel Hazo, Rob Romeyn, Jim Johnson, Jeremy Bell, Steven Pyter, Matt Conway, and James Swearingen.
 
ASU-Beebe offers an Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree with an emphasis on vocal music or instrumental music, theater, graphic design or creative arts enterprise. This degree is a comprehensive two-year curriculum designed specifically for transfer toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
