ASU-Beebe’s Career Services will present a Career Fair from noon until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7 in the Centennial Bank Gymnasium at the Owen Center, located at 1102 West College Street on the Beebe campus. The event is free and open to the public.
More than 40 area employers and ASU-Beebe departments are looking to meet students and share career opportunities.
ASU-Beebe departments will include the Office of Admissions, the Regional Career Center, Adult Education, Allied Health and A-State.
Students may also take advantage of on-site interview spaces and job searching, provided by the Arkansas Workforce mobile unit.
“Students are encouraged to bring their resume in case a business wants to conduct an on-spot interview,” said Jesse Blue, career placement coordinator. “This is a great opportunity to network and explore career paths.”
Attendees will enjoy snacks, provided by First Security Bank, and coffee, tea and apple cider, provided by Great Western Dining Service. Participants will also have a chance to win door prizes donated by area businesses.
The event is open to all, and pre-registration is encouraged to help organizers prepare. For more information or to register, contact Career Services at (501) 207-6202 or view the webpage at https://www.asub.edu/career-services/.
