Abington Library to Host True Crime Week: Four Speakers to Discuss Notorious Cases and True Crime Literature

ASU-Beebe is excited to host a week of true crime speakers during the week of October 6-9. The series is free admission and will be held in the Abington Library, located at 204 N. Palm Street in Beebe.
True crime enthusiasts are invited to attend and explore a variety of notorious cases, as well as browse through an exclusive display of true crime books.
On Monday Oct. 6, at noon, author George Jared will discuss books "Whisper in the Willows," “Creekside Bones,” and “The Witches of West Memphis."
Then, on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 12:30 p.m., author Bitty Martin will speak about the book "Snake Eyes."
On Wednesday, Oct. 8 at noon, podcaster Lisa Tinsley-Ponson will lead a presentation on "Unexplained America The Podcast."
Finally, on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 12:30 p.m., Catherine Rathe, author of "The Washeteria Mystery,” will lead a discussion on the book.  
Refreshments will be provided throughout the event series. Both true crime fans and casual listeners are encouraged to attend, as each session offers a unique look into some of history’s most compelling cases.
