Yes. A resident's $150.00 non-refundable housing application fee can transfer to the next semester if they have a housing reservation. If a student moves out and does not have a housing reservation for the next semester, their housing application fee will be forfeited.

Notice: Students that apply and pay the $150.00 housing application fee, and are not assigned a room because of availability, will be refunded their fee before September 1. However, any student that applies and changes their mind about on-campus living after signing a lease agreement will receive no refund for their application fee.
Private or single rooms are assigned by the date that the housing application fee was paid. Returning students who have completed the RSVP form have priority. Single rooms can only be assigned when space is available. Students can request roommates, and every effort will be made to honor these requests. Residents may change room assignments, but only with approval from the Residence Hall Manager.
We have created a great list of must-haves for residential students. See our checklist!
Each room includes its own internet modem with both ethernet & wifi connectivity through Fidelity Communication at no additional cost. All use of this service must be consistent with the policies outlined in the Information Technology part of the Student Handbook.
Double rooms have two loft-style beds with mattresses, two desks, two dressers, and two chairs. Single rooms have a full-size bed with a mattress, desk, dresser, and chair. All rooms have built-in locking closet space for each occupant. Learn more by checking out the Residence Hall page.

No. State Law requires ASU-Beebe to be a tobacco-free environment, including all forms of smokeless tobacco. The use of tobacco products is not allowed on the campus of ASU-Beebe. Incense and candles are also not allowed in the residence halls. These items violate fire safety regulations, and the scent can be annoying to others in the residence hall community.
Microwaves on the first floor of each residence hall are available for limited cooking needs. Residents are not allowed to cook in their rooms for several reasons:
  • Lack of ventilation
  • Fire regulations
  • Possible damage to property
  • Pest problems
The restroom facilities are suite-style, with two rooms sharing a restroom between them. Residents will also have vanity within their room.
You will be encouraged to make your room as comfortable as you like. You are welcome to bring items to give your room the personal touches to make you feel more at home. Please remember that you will most likely be sharing a room with another person. You will want to ensure that the things you choose to bring to your room will not interfere with the other person's living environment.

Residents are not allowed to use nails, screws, push pins, tape, or sticky tack to decorate. Removable hanging strips are permitted and will be your friend.
Yes. All residents are required to have the 17-Meal Residential Meal Plan. The cost is $1,500.00 per semester. It includes access to 17 meals per week and $80.00 of Blue Bucks dollars. This plan is accessible at any ASU-Beebe food service location (Beebe, Heber Springs, and Searcy campuses). Meals expire at the end of each semester; Blue Bucks expire on June 30 each year.
Pets are not allowed in the residence halls because of the community environment and the requirement of health regulations. Fish in a five gallon or smaller tank are allowed. Service and emotional support animals are allowed once approved through the Office of Disability Services.
Residents are considered adults and are therefore responsible for their behavior. The entrance doors remain locked 24 hours a day, but residents are issued an access card for their own use. There are study hours/quiet hours set aside from 10 p.m.-8 a.m. During this time, residents are expected to respect the others in the community who may be studying.

Please remember residents have the privilege to have guests during visitation hours with the expectation that guests are to respect the rights of the host’s roommate or other hall residents.

Assigning or allowing the use of an assigned on-campus housing space to another person is prohibited.

As a resident of ASU-Beebe's Residence Halls, you are allowed to have visitors. Each hall requires that you sign your guests in at the front desk. Guests will be required to leave a photo ID with the DA or RA working at the desk. Any guest that does not have an appropriate ID will not be allowed past the front lobby.

A resident of the building must always escort guests.

Guests must abide by ASU-Beebe policies and must not infringe upon the rights of roommates and other residents. Residents are responsible for informing their guests of ASU-Beebe policies and will be held accountable for the behavior of their guests. Residents are responsible for all items found in their rooms and for all activities occurring within their rooms while hosting a guest. The residential student is responsible for the behavior of their family member(s).

No more than two (2) visitors will be allowed in an individual’s room.

Guests are never allowed to be left alone in a resident’s room.

Residents should never allow a guest to use their ID cards or keys.

The floors of each building are co-ed. Each suite is designated by gender. Visitation is allowed Sunday-Thursday 12 p.m. -12 a.m. and Friday-Saturday 12 p.m.-2 a.m.

The college does not provide any housing for married students or students with children. However, there is no age limit for students interested in the traditional residence hall experience.

Yes, residence halls are open year-round.
A Resident Assistant (RA) is a student para-professional that works in the residence halls. The RA will serve as a resource for the students on their floor and provide support from the university to the students. In addition to the RAs, there is a Residence Hall Manager in each residence hall. The Residence Hall Manager serves as the college supervisor for the residence halls and is also a resource for students.
There are many opportunities for students to become involved on the ASU-Beebe campus. Student organizations, concerts, and coffeehouses are just a few of the ways that ASU-Beebe provides students with a memorable college experience.
There are no landline phone lines available in the rooms.
Each residence hall has a computer room available for residents at any time. These computers are intended primarily for educational uses. Computer labs are also located in the Learning Center, Science Building, and Abington Library.
