“The Battle of Boat” is a courageous tale of a group of children trying to find their place in a world at war in 1916. An original musical by composer Ethan Lewis Maltby and lyricist Jenna Donnelly, the adventure is set during World War I. Frustrated by their inability to join the soldiers in battle, the children, who name themselves “The Defenders,” decide to do whatever it takes to help with the war effort.
