Strategic Plan Spotlights Presented for March and April

The Arkansas State University-Beebe Strategic Plan Spotlight awards were recently presented for March and April 2023. 

Cheryl Cherry, advising and learning center coordinator/media specialist on the Searcy campus, received the spotlight award for March based on the core value of student success. The nomination reads: “I am nominating Cheryl Cherry because of her knowledge and guidance in advising our students. She is always there to aid students to success. She is also willing to help others resolve a problem or situation. I have been told by so many people how Cheryl helped them with their goals and genuinely love her smiling face and kind demeanor.”

Amber Bramlett, assistant professor of education and lead instructor, received the spotlight award for April based on the core value of quality. The nomination reads: “She provides quality instruction, curriculum for the team, and excellent sources of professional development. She exemplifies good leadership and how to run a high-quality department with many demands and expectations.”

ASU-Beebe faculty and staff are nominated for these awards by fellow faculty and staff based on their contributions toward achieving the college's strategic plan and three overarching strategic goals. The strategic goals are: “Strong From The Start,” “ASUBe Connected,” and “P32B1” (Policies, Practices and Procedures to be One College).
