Staff Member Earns National Financial Aid Certification

Arkansas State University-Beebe is proud to announce that Jamie Cooper, associate director of financial aid, has earned the prestigious Financial Aid Administrator Certification (FAAC®) credential from the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA). Cooper is currently one of only 10 professionals in Arkansas to hold this nationally recognized designation.
"We congratulate Jamie on earning the national financial aid certification," said Dr. Amber Black, vice chancellor for student services. "This is a significant professional accomplishment that reflects her hard work, dedication, and commitment to providing exceptional service to our students and their families."
The FAAC® designation recognizes financial aid professionals who have successfully completed a comprehensive examination covering federal financial aid regulations, ethics, and best practices.
"The financial aid credential demonstrates an advanced level of knowledge and expertise in financial aid administration," said Alexandra Tubbs, ASU-Beebe director of financial aid. "Jamie’s commitment to professional development strengthens our ability to help students access the resources they need to achieve their educational goals."
The certification underscores the university's commitment to ensuring students receive accurate guidance and support as they navigate the financial aid process.
