Arkansas State University-Beebe and ArkansasRadio.com will present a free outdoor concert featuring Wyly Bigger at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, as part of the ASU-Beebe 2026-2027 Lecture-Concert Series and Back to Beebe Bash festivities.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy a picnic from 5 to 6 p.m., with food and drinks provided by Great Western Dining. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. in The Grove, behind the State Hall building on the Beebe campus, located at 1102 West College Street in Beebe.
Arkansas native Wyly Bigger is a blues and rock ’n’ roll pianist whose music is deeply rooted in the sounds of the Mississippi Delta and Memphis. His energetic performances and debut album, “Broken Telephone,” blend classic rock ’n’ roll piano with modern songwriting, earning recognition in Memphis and audiences across North America and Europe.

The fall lecture-concert schedule continues Oct. 1, with artist Robert Townsend, whose visit includes a screening of the award-winning documentary “My Indiana Muse” followed by a lecture exploring his artistic process and the inspiration behind his work. On Dec. 9, audiences can experience Tomáseen Foley's “A Celtic Christmas,” an Irish holiday production featuring traditional music, dance and storytelling.
