While at ASU-Beebe, Vaughn was a member of the Honors Program and Ecology Club and held a summer internship with the Office of Institutional Advancement.


Vaughn of Cabot received ASU-Beebe’s Academic Achievement Scholarship and graduated in May 2017 with an Associate of Arts degree.


“ASU-Beebe was the perfect stepping stone from high school to college,” said Vaughn. “The professors were encouraging and provided the assistance needed to enhance my writing skills and propel me into the journalism interest.” 


Vaughn is attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she serves as the Social Media and Publications Appointed Officer of the Sigma Phi Lambda sorority. Vaughn is also a student employee at the Center for Educational Access Test Center, where she delivers and proctors exams. 


Vaughn plans to graduate from the U of A in May with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. After graduation, she would like to work in public relations, write for a magazine, or in digital social media.
