ASU-Beebe is pleased to announce the promotion of 12 faculty members for the 2025-2026 academic year, reflecting ASU-Beebe's commitment to academic excellence and student success.
Effective July 1, promotions recognize outstanding contributions in teaching, service and leadership across multiple disciplines.
Faculty members promoted to associate professor were Cindy Beck, English; Amber Bramlett, education; Sarah Buford, mathematics; Leslie Shults, mathematics; and Alison West, mathematics.
Those promoted to assistant professor were Barbara Castle, English and Justin Sangster, English.
Also, faculty members promoted to senior instructor were: Megan Cain, veterinary technology and Tara Hart, veterinary technology.
Additionally, those promoted to advanced instructor were: Brad Cooper, heating, air, ventilation and refrigeration; Tonya Brownfield, nursing; Robert Love, nursing; and Zachary Smith, emergency medical services.
“These promotions recognize the talent, dedication and commitment our faculty bring to their classrooms and our campus every day,” said Dr. Blake Perkins, vice chancellor for academics at ASU-Beebe. “Their exceptional work ensures our students receive a high-quality education and the support they need to succeed.”
