Multi-Factor authentication (MFA) adds a second layer of security to your online accounts. Verifying your identity using a second factor like your phone or other mobile devices prevents anyone but you from logging in, even if they know your password.
Microsoft MFA can be accessed by downloading the application to your device directly or using fobs provided by the ITS department. If you would like to request a fob, send an email to helpdesk@asub.edu to request one. It must be reserved at least three days before the scheduled enrollment process begins.
Download the Microsoft Authenticator app to your phone or tablet before attempting the setup process. The setup process works best when accessing your student email from a Windows PC or Mac separate from your mobile device.
- Enter username and password as usual.
- Use your phone or fob to verify your identity.
- Securely log in.
