Academic Scholarships
Priority Admission Deadline: April 1, 2023
Requirements:
- Must be an Arkansas resident
- ACT Superscore of 27+ (or equivalent SAT)
Award Amount:
- In-state tuition only for up to 18 hours per semester
- $250 stipend per semester
- Total potential value of up to $4,172/year
Renewal Conditions:
- Must successfully complete a minimum of 12 hours each semester
- Must maintain a cumulative grade point average of a 3.0+
Maximum Award:
- Maximum four semesters or;
- Completion of an associate degree.

- ACT Superscore of 23-26 (or equivalent SAT)
Award Amount:
- In-state tuition only for up to 15 hours per semester
- Total potential value of up to $3,060/year
Renewal Conditions:
- Must successfully complete a minimum of 12 hours each semester
- Must maintain a cumulative grade point average of a 3.0 or higher
Maximum Award:
- Maximum four semesters or;
- Completion of an associate degree.

Award Amount:
- $1,000 / year ($500 per Fall and Spring semesters)

- Must successfully complete a minimum of 12 hours each semester
- Must maintain a cumulative grade point average of a 3.0 or higher
Maximum Award:
- Maximum four semesters or;
- Completion of an associate degree.

Award Amount:
- In-state tuition only for all technical courses for the duration of the technical program if renewal requirements are met.

- Cumulative grade point average of 3.0. after each semester
Maximum Award:
- 2 semesters in an approved technical program

An application for admission is all that is needed to apply for academic scholarships at ASU-Beebe. Students must be admitted by the priority deadline for final award consideration.

Arkansas State University-Beebe scholarships can be used for coursework at any ASU-Beebe campus located at Beebe, Heber Springs, Little Rock Air Force Base, or Searcy.
To be considered for scholarships, a student must be admitted by the scholarship’s listed priority deadline. Documents needed for admission include an application for admission, current high school transcript, immunization records and qualifying ACT or SAT exam scores.
ASU-Beebe scholarships are awarded on a semester basis for fall and spring semesters only except for the Technical Certificate Academic Scholarship, which can be awarded in summer semesters. Under the Arkansas Scholarship Stacking Policy, other financial aid received may reduce the value of the academic award.
Academic scholarships are awarded to first-time entering freshmen only.
All scholarships are awarded based on a first-come, first-served basis and the availability of funds.
Academic Scholarship Hold/Delay Request:
Students can place their academic scholarship on hold for up to one academic year. If you need to place your scholarship on hold, e-mail scholarships@asub.edu.
Non-ACT Scholarships
Priority Deadline: Various
Separate applications for each Non-ACT Scholarship are required. Please review each scholarship carefully to determine application steps and deadlines.
AR Scholars Application
Requirements:
- Must be a first-time freshman
- Selected as an "Arkansas Scholar" from a participating high school
Award Amount:
- $1,000 / year - ($500 per fall or spring semester)
- Applied to tuition only
Renewal Conditions:
- Must successfully complete a minimum of 12 hours each semester
- Must maintain a cumulative grade point average of a 3.0 or higher
Maximum Award:
- Maximum four semesters or;
- Completion of an associate degree.
Priority Application Deadline: April 1
Requirements:
- Must be an Arkansas resident
- GED score of 680 with scores of at least 170 in each subject area
- Test date must be from January 2, 2014 or later
Award Amount:
- In-state tuition for up to 15 hours
Renewal Conditions:
- Cumulative grade point average of 3.0
- Successful completion of 12 hours if enrolled full-time or;
- Successful completion of 6 hours if enrolled half-time.
No Application Deadline
Requirements:
- Completed one year at a high school Regional Career Center
- Selection is made by the Regional Career Center staff
Award Amount:
- In-state tuition only for all technical courses for the duration of the technical program if renewal requirements are met.
Renewal Conditions:
- Cumulative grade point average of 3.0. after each semester
Maximum Award:
- 2 semesters in an approved technical program
Priority Application Deadline: April 1
Requirements:
- First place in VSO SkillsUSA/HOSA Olympics or state officer in high school
- Must be a first-time freshman
Award Amount:
- In-state tuition for all technical program courses for the duration of one technical program if renewal requirements are met.
Renewal Conditions:
- Cumulative grade point average of 3.0
- Successful completion of all technical program courses
Maximum Award:
- Completion of one technical certificate.
Application Deadline: June 1
First Place Certificate or documentation of officer status must be brought to the Admissions Office in person or faxed prior to the June 1st deadline to qualify.
Foundation Scholarships

Foundation Scholarship Application
Any student, who has been fully admitted to ASU-Beebe, is eligible to apply for a variety of privately funded scholarships administered by Arkansas State University-Beebe and the ASU System Foundation, Inc. Many of the scholarships offered are for both fall and spring semesters, as well as some can be renewed for additional semesters provided renewal criteria is met.
The Office of Institutional Advancement highly recommends that you complete an application and submit supporting documentation (resume, letter(s) of recommendation, essay, etc.) to strengthen your application. Deadline to apply for the 2021-2022 academic year is June 15, 2021.
Currently all available scholarships are for full-time students and require evidence of scholastic achievement, financial need and/or outstanding ability in the area of the award. Scholarships vary in amounts and duration of award are typically awarded based on availability of funds. All privately funded scholarship awards are for any ASU-Beebe campus, located at Beebe, Heber Springs, Little Rock Air Force Base or Searcy.

Departmental Scholarships

Separate applications for each Departmental Scholarship are required. Please review each scholarship carefully to determine application steps and deadlines.
Requirements
- Must be a first-time entering student
- Minimum 2.0 high school GPA
- Must also participate in an interview with ASU-Beebe Student Services Staff
Award Amount:
- $1,000 / year ($500 per Fall and Spring semesters)
- Up to four consecutive semesters
Renewal Conditions:

Priority Application Deadline: April 15th
Requirements:
- Arkansas Resident
- ACT composite score of 24 or above with no sub-score below a 19
- No remedial coursework required
Award Amount:
- $1,000 annually divided evenly between Fall and Spring semesters
Renewal Conditions:
- Must successfully complete a minimum of 12 hours each semester
- Maintain cumulative grade point average of a 3.25 or higher
Maximum Award:
- $2,000
Priority Application Deadline: June 1
Requirements:
- Must be enrolled as a Fine Arts - Theatre Major
- Must audition with Theatre faculty
- Must be able to participate in all theatre productions, either as an actor on the tech crew
- Must take at least one theatre class each semester
Award Amount:
- $1,000-$2,000 / year ($500 - $1,000 per Fall and Spring semesters)
- Scholarships amounts vary and are awarded on a competitive basis
Renewal Condition:
- Student remains enrolled as a Fine Arts - Theatre major
- Maintain a 2.25 cumulative GPA
- Show up at rehearsals and shows prepared and on time
- Participate in all theatre-related recruiting events
Maximum Award:
- $1,000 / semester

Requirements:
- Student music audition for members of the music faculty
Award Amount:
- Varies based upon the results of the audition
Renewal Condition:
- Student must be enrolled in the ensemble for which they auditioned (Symphonic Band or The Singers/Chamber Singers)
- Student must meet the requirements as stated in the syllabus for the ensemble
- Student maintain cumulative grade point average of a 2.5 or higher

Requirements:
Student must be enrolled in the Computerized Machining Technology program.
Award Amount:
$300-$2,500 per semester.
Renewal Condition:
Student must maintain a C average or better and remain enrolled in the Computerized Machining Technology program. Student must also re-apply each semester.

Arkansas Division of Higher Education Scholarships
Priority Deadline: Various
Students attending ASU-Beebe are eligible to apply for many scholarships through the Arkansas Division of Higher Education (ADHE), including the AR Challenge Scholarship and the AR Future Grant.
Federal Financial Aid Programs
Priority Deadline for Fall: April 1
