Housing Renewal

Returning residents may renew through spring Housing Lottery. Housing Lottery is the online event during the Spring semester when current eligible residents select their room and room/ suitemate assignment for the following year. Lottery is structured by Priority placement as outlined in the Residence Hall Lease Agreement: (first) scholarships, (second) enrolled in an academic program with residency requirement, (third) cumulative GPA, (fourth) cumulative credit hours, (fifth) full time enrollment, (sixth) date of paid housing application fee. 

The deadline for retuning residents to complete Housing Lottery is April 30th for the upcoming fall semester. After May 1st, room assignments for returning residents can not be guaranteed, as housing staff will begin placing new resident applications.

Beginning at 9:00AM on the announced Housing Renewal Start Day, each resident will be notified when their room selection process is activated in order of their assigned Housing Lottery Number. Each resident will have one (1) hour to log into the ResLife Portal Resident Hub to select a room and to officially commit to housing, before the next resident’s room selection process is activated. Residents may select a room after the hour window. However, they will lose priority -  as the room of their choosing might be claimed by another resident.
