This program prepares the individual to obtain marketable technical skills in a variety of areas. Students will be trained in the various technologies employed in a manufacturing plant as well as training the student in a number of different skills that will give students a foundation that can lead to careers in industry or maintenance of commercial and residential complexes. Examples of areas covered are: machining, pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, drafting, quality control, hand tools, mechanical power and welding. This program is offered on the Searcy Campus and offers a one-year Technical Certificate with a Certificate of Proficiency as well as a option for a two-year Associate of Applied Science in General Technology Degree.
