ASLAS = Associate of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences

Spanish, a romance language, is the primary language of Spain, Mexico, and most countries in Central and South America and the Caribbean. It is the second most spoken language worldwide and in the United States. Fluency in Spanish is invaluable for those living and working in the United States and abroad. Students are introduced to all aspects of foreign language study. The classroom experience will provide an appreciation and development of cultural awareness through various avenues as students prepare for transfer to a baccalaureate institution.
