- Fulfill ethics in teaching and federal and state laws regarding education.
- Develop and demonstrate the knowledge, pedagogical skills and professional dispositions necessary to help all students learn.
- Comprehend environmental and hereditary effects on cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and social-linguistic development of typically and atypically developing children from conception to middle childhood of diverse cultural backgrounds within and outside the United States.
- Observe and evaluate children's development and recognize developmental delays.
- Create strategies to differentiate instruction to meet all student's learning needs.
- Comply with laws pertaining to disabled children and special accommodations that education facilities are required to make according to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- Obtain a sound liberal arts education to transition into a bachelor's degree in Teacher Education Program.
- Apply the skills and knowledge acquired through observations, classroom activities, class discussions and text to a real-world classroom setting.
