What is the COMPASS exam?
COMPASS is a computerized test that helps evaluate your skills and place you into appropriate courses. COMPASS offers tests in reading, writing, and mathematics.
How much is the registration fee?
The registration fee is $15.
Where do I pay the registration fee?
At the Cashier's Window in State Hall (1st floor) prior to testing.
When is the exam offered?
Examinees should call 501-882-8906 for information regarding the testing schedule.
In the event of inclement weather, such as snow, freezing rain, or sleet that may make travel on roads hazardous, examinees are advised to check ASU-Beebe's website at www.asub.edu, or tune in to the following media stations for early notifications: Searcy's KWCK (99.9), KSMD (99.1), or KEAZ (100.7); Batesville's KWOZ (103.3); and TV Channels 4, 7, or 11.

What time should I arrive to the testing location?
Students testing at ASU Beebe must call 501-882-8906 to inquire about the testing schedule.
Students testing at ASU Searcy, that fail to attend or call prior to the starting time of the testing session, must repay their testing fee in order to test.

Can I use a calculator?
Calculators may be used on the mathematics section only. You are responsible for knowing if your calculator is permitted. Please review this list to see which calculators are prohibited. http://www.act.org/compass/student/calculator.html
What should I bring the day of the test?
You MUST bring the pink receipt (that you received at the Cashier's Window) AND a government issued photo ID (driver's license, passport). * Your name on your photo ID must match the name on your pink receipt.

When will I receive my scores?
You will receive your score report after you complete your exam.
What is the re-test policy?
You can test once a day only when an exam is scheduled. Contact one of our testing centers to inquire about their testing schedule.
