Vanguard Art Pass

Founded as Central Arkansas’ community college, ASU-Beebe has opened its doors to providing its students access to the vibrant arts and culture of the Central Arkansas region. Currently enrolled students are allowed to enter for the chance to be selected for one (1) ticket to any ten (10) pre-selected performances in Central Arkansas.  

Any interested student may simply register below to enter a drawing for a ticket voucher to a performance. Students may register for more than one performance, but must submit a separate entry for each performance. Please review drawing dates below; the Office of Student Life will be contacting selected recipients on these dates as to the next steps for attending the respective event. Terms and conditions for the program are also listed below. The Vanguard Art Pass is a program of the Student Activities Council and the Office of Student Life.

Vanguard Art Pass Terms & Conditions

  1. Title. The Office of Student Life, in cooperation with the Student Activities Council, shall host a cultural enrichment program entitled “Vanguard Art Pass” program. The program shall consist of offering students of Arkansas State University-Beebe the opportunity to travel to various arts & cultural events in Central Arkansas at no additional cost to the student.

  2. No Purchase Necessary. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Interested students will be allowed to enter for the chance to be selected to receive one ticket voucher at no cost to the student.

  3. Eligibility. The release of ticket vouchers which are part of the “Vanguard Art Pass” program is limited to currently enrolled students of Arkansas State University-Beebe who have registered for the giveaway and have verified their ability to attend the event in which the ticket is being given away. Ticket vouchers are nontransferable and cannot be issued to another student by a recipient. If at any point the recipient of a ticket voucher no longer becomes eligible, the student shall notify the Office of Student Life at 501-882-4491 before the ticketed event.

  4. Event Ticket Vouchers. For the 2018-19 academic year the “Vanguard Art Pass” will include ten (10) giveaway ticket vouchers for each of the following events:

    “Warriors Don’t Cry” on September 21, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

    “The Music of Star Wars” by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra on October 20, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Robinson Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

    “Chicago” on October 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.

    “Something Rotten” on January 23, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.

    “Kinky Boots” on February 4, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.

    “We Shall Overcome” on February 11, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.

    “Steel Magnolias” on February 22, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.

    “Rock of Ages” March 4, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.

    “Evita” on March 15, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Robinson Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

    “Currents” on April 1, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.

  5. How to Enter. Interested and eligible students are welcome to complete an online submission form located at www.asub.edu/student-life/vanguardartpass. Student participants will be required to complete a separate submission form for each event. Upon submission, students will receive an email confirmation. Their name will automatically be entered in the pool to be randomly selected to receive a ticket voucher.

  6. Winner Selection. Five business days before the respective art event, the Office of Student Life will randomly draw twelve (12) names from the pool of submissions for the respective art event. The first ten (10) names will be the recipients of the ticket vouchers, and the next two (2) names will be alternates in the case one or both of the first ten (10) students are unable to attend the art event.

  7. Winner Notification. On the day of the drawing, all twelve (12) names drawn will be notified by phone & email. If a potential winner does not respond within twenty-four (24) hours after the first notification attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner may be disqualified and the prize awarded to an alternate student. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible, have not complied with these Official Rules, or declines a prize for any reason prior to the award, such potential winner will be disqualified and the prize may be awarded to an alternate.

Through a partnership between A-State and ASUB, students may earn baccalaureate degrees from Arkansas State University by taking coursework at the Degree Center on the Beebe campus.
