Published: September 13 2017

Marvin Jones, of Cabot, recently donated $1,000 to Arkansas State University-Beebe to assist international business students from El Salvador,  who are attending the university as part of an exchange program sponsored by ASU-Beebeā€™s Global Awareness Committee and UNICAES (Catholic University), located in Santa Ana, El Salvador. The money will help the students to purchase books and pay residence hall housing fees for the fall semester. The students are pursuing technical certificates in entrepreneurship and are enrolled in Business Communication, Business Organization and Management, Feasibility and Funding, and Professional Selling and Advertising. Jones is a member of the ASU-Beebe Development Council, and teaches business administration classes at the Beebe campus. ASU-Beebe Global Awareness Committee faculty members include Dr. Jake Marquess, Dr. David Jones, and Eddie Supratman.
