ADH Health Alert
Published: August 14 2014

The World Health Organization has declared an international emergency related to the ebola virus disease outbreak in West Africa. The Arkansas Department of Health has notified all Arkansas Higher Education institutions, including Arkansas State University-Beebe of this health alert.

ADH has asked ASU-Beebe to alert ADH if any of our students, faculty or staff have traveled in the last 21 days to the four countries currently experiencing an ebola outbreak: Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nigeria. Currently, there are no known cases of ebola in Arkansas. ASU-Beebe does not have any international students enrolled from the infected outbreak areas of Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nigeria.

If you believe you or any of your students may have traveled to or may have departed from the four countries listed above within the last 21 days, please contact the Admissions office at (501) 882-8860. The list names and travel history are needed by ADH to assist in planning for possible cases that might evolve here.
