During the June 2020 meeting of the Arkansas State University System Board of Trustees, three members of the Arkansas State University-Beebe Board of Visitors were reappointed to serve another term.
Those appointed to continue serving on the Board of Visitors were: Butch Rice, Chairman, Beebe; Howard Chapin, Heber Springs; and Dr. Hazel Dickey, Secretary, Searcy.
Other members of the ASU-Beebe Board of Visitors include: Cathy Eoff, Beebe; Dr. Dianne Tiner-Logan, Vice Chair, Heber Springs; Buck Layne, Searcy; and Flave Carpenter, Searcy.
Dr. Jennifer Methvin, ASU-Beebe Chancellor stated: “We are very appreciative of the guidance and support provided by our Board of Visitors. Their knowledge of the educational needs of our service communities, as well as their commitment to student success, help continue our mission of transforming lives through quality learning experiences.”
Members of the ASU-Beebe Board of Visitors are selected by the ASU System President in cooperation and coordination with the ASU-Beebe Chancellor.
The ASU-Beebe Board of Visitors serves in an advisory role to aid in securing financial support, to make recommendations about the educational and service needs of the service area and to furnish counsel and guidance.
