Published: July 11 2016

Arkansas State University-Beebe at Searcy will host Information Expo sessions on Thursday, July 21, from noon to 5 p.m. and Thursday, August 18, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Main Building, Room 117 on the Searcy campus.

Do you want a second chance at college, obtain your GED, or would you like to increase your earning potential? The ASU-Searcy Information Expo is an excellent opportunity to visit the Searcy campus, learn more about the programs offered, receive information on earning a high school diploma, or explore the funding options and available scholarships. A personal guide will be available to answer questions and assist with the admission process.

ASU-Searcy offers technical certification in various fields, such as Practical Nursing, Air Conditioning, Auto Body, Automotive, Computer Machining Technology, Diesel Technology, Power Sports, Welding, Health Information Assistant, EMT/Paramedics, and the newest program in Multi-Skills Technology.

With the focus on technical and occupational programs at ASU-Searcy, students can complete most programs within one year, and earn a technical certificate. Credits earned will also apply to the Associate of Applied Science in General Technology degree for those who want to continue their education after the technical certificate.

Participants may attend any portion of the ASU-Searcy Information Expo. For more information about the ASU-Searcy Information Expo, call (501) 207-6200, or view the website at www.asub.edu.
