The Advanced Technology/Allied Health Division at Arkansas State University-Beebe will host Hands-On Preview events on Tuesday, Feb, 16 and Thursday, Apr. 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Advanced Technology/Allied Health Building on the Beebe campus.
The Hands-On Preview event will provide hands-on experience and information about several technical and health care programs offered at ASU-Beebe.
Many students are unsure about their career path and hands-on activities can provide a potential student insight into areas of interest. Through individual hands-on activities, students can explore the realities of the career path of their choice.
The event also offers an opportunity for attendees to consider the specific areas of Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD), Computer Systems and Networking Technology (CSNT), Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), John Deere Ag Tech, Practical Nursing (LPN), EMT/Paramedic, and Pharmacy Technician.
Each Hands-On Preview event is open to both traditional and nontraditional students. Students are welcome to bring guests, such as a parent or spouse. There will be refreshments available to those in attendance.
