Keith Moore of Jacksonville has been named Executive Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Arkansas State University-Beebe.

 

Moore holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Arkansas Air National Guard and has served as a senior public affairs officer for the Adjutant General at the Joint Force Headquarters for the past 11 years. His duties have included implementation of strategic communications, management of crisis communication, and maintaining brand awareness.  Previously, Moore also served as the Marketing and Administrative Support Services Coordinator for BKD, LLP, a public accounting firm.

 

Moore received a bachelor’s degree in News Journalism from Arkansas State University and a master’s degree in Media Communications from Webster University. He is also certified in FEMA as the Public Affairs Officer, and is experienced in interagency coordination for crisis event management.

 

As Executive Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Moore will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of all of the university’s marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities and provide oversight of branding and support materials and services in the areas of marketing, communication, and public relations.
