Camp Awesome-Kid’s College

Arkansas State University-Beebe will offer Camp Awesome-Kid’s College during the month of July.

The camp is designed to provide children with a fun and exciting range of unique opportunities to gain new knowledge, explore careers, develop new skills, and boost self-confidence.


Camp Awesome is recommended for grades 2 through 8, and courses are offered on the Beebe, Searcy, and Heber Springs campuses. The start and end times, age requirements, as well as costs for each program may vary.


Sessions on the Beebe campus will offer STEM sessions for students in grades 5 through 8, Monday, July 10 through Friday, July 14, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Creative Art camp sessions for students in grades 4 through 8 will be held Monday, July 17 through Friday, July 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. STEM is $185 and Creative Art camp is $180.


Sessions on the Heber Springs campus are open to students in grades 2 through 6 and will be held Monday, July 24 through Friday, July 28. The Creative Art camp session will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the STEM session will be held 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Participants may join either session or both. Creative Art camp is $80, STEM is $80, and to participate in both sessions is $155.


Sessions on the Searcy campus will offer Lego Robotics for students in grades 5 through 8 and will be held Monday, July 17 through Friday, July 21 from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. This session will cost $80.


Many of the classes are limited to 15 students; therefore, parents should pre-register their child early to ensure participation. Registration will continue until spaces are filled. Sibling discounts for all camps are available. All class sessions are subject to change.
