Arkansas Saxophone Symposium

The Arkansas State University-Beebe Department of Music will present a concert on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the 2015-2016 Arkansas Saxophone Symposium.  The concert will be held in the Lecture/Recital Hall in the Science Building.

 

The concert will feature performances by Dr. Jackie Lamar from the University of Central Arkansas; Dr. Christopher Barrick from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith; Dr. Andrew Cook from Harding University; Dr. Brent Bristow from ASU-Beebe; and guest clinician James Houlik, Professor of Saxophone at the Duquesne University Mary Pappert School of Music. 

 

The two-day symposium will be held on the ASU-Beebe campus on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13 and Nov. 14, and will include events for junior high school, high school, and college saxophone students.
