Veterinary Technology Program

 

Mission Statement

ASU-Beebe Veterinary Technology Program is dedicated to supporting the growth of certified veterinary technicians by providing a solid education that has its basis founded in knowledge, skills, professionalism, and ethics.

 

The Veterinary Technology Program conducted by ASU-Beebe is granted Full Accreditation effective March 14, 2014, by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Committee of Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA). This program provides hands-on education in veterinary technology operations. Students will develop entry level competencies necessary to obtain employment in veterinary hospitals and industry. Students are eligible to take the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) after graduation from the program. Successfully completing the degree and passing the VTNE, students can then be certified in the State of Arkansas. ASU-Beebe offers an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology.
