The office of Academic Affairs, located on the second floor of State Hall, provides support for ASU-Beebe faculty in their roles as teachers, advisors, and scholars.
The vice chancellor for Academic Affairs oversees the university curriculum and new curricular initiatives, faculty hiring and promotion, and the administration of all academic departments and programs, Abington Library, and offices within the division of Academic Affairs. The vice chancellor has an integral part of the ongoing budget and planning process for the university.
Academic Affairs is also the primary point of contact for the Higher Learning Commission, the body that monitors the accreditation status and ensures a high-quality learning environment for ASU-Beebe.
