What is RSS?
RSS is an acronym for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary". RSS is an XML-based method for distributing the latest news and information to news readers.
What is a news reader?
A news reader (RSS reader) can be either a program running on your desktop or a web-based application. News readers allow you to collect and organize news feeds from various sources without visiting each site. Your reader is updated when new information is available on the feeds you have subscribed to. Sites providing RSS feeds generally display a small button that says either RSS or XML.
Where can I get a FREE news reader?
There are a variety of news readers available on the Internet.
